Bruce Tharpe Engineering
‘The best kits on the market today’ to quote master craftsman Peter Illick after building a “Flying King” from that company. He goes on to say that the 5-star quality kit is a bargain. Balsa wood correctly selected for each application and the machine-cut parts fit perfectly. Pete framed up the bird in three days with the weight at 4 pounds even for an 80” airplane. Bruce Tharpe worked for Sig and designed the “4 Star” series of kits. Bruce’s company also kits a “Venture 6” which is a prettier version of a “4 Star 60”. Want a really nice kit? Try a Bruce Tharpe Engineering kit for your next fun airplane.
